Manx Telecom is supporting the growth of the Tough Mann Adventure Challenge with a three year deal as headline sponsor starting with the 2015 event. Tough Mann began in 2013 and has attracted hundreds of competitors from on and off-Island wanting to take on the demanding 10km assault course race which includes 25 obstacles such as muddy bogs, rope scrambles and monkey bars. The 2015 event is on Saturday August 1 at Ballamoar Farm, Ballaugh.
A maximum field of 750 will take to the start line this year, and you can sign-up now at www.toughmann.com and organisers are expecting all the places to be filled well before the final entry deadline at midnight on Sunday 25th July. So the message is get in quick if you want to be part of the Island’s most exciting and fastest growing community and sports event.
Manx Telecom, as the headline sponsor, will be providing some fantastic prizes for the winners of the men’s, women’s and team categories.

The event is open to individuals and teams of three. All competitors who complete the challenge will receive a commemorative t-shirt. The entry fee is now ?37 – however the entry fee increases incrementally from March 1. Tough Mann is also being supported by event partners including Dougherty Quinn, Paddy Power, Paragon Recruitment, and Manx Independent Carriers to name just a few.
Tough Mann is the latest major event to be sponsored by the Island’s leading telecoms provider. Manx Telecom also sponsor the Parish Walk, End2End Mountain Bike Challenge, and the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
