"Start-up Saturdays" Business Workshops

by isleofman.com 22nd January 2015

New business idea workshops are being held in March under the banner “Start-Up Saturdays”.

The training helps people work through their ideas and take the next steps with a plan for success.

Previous attendees felt more confident to move forward and gave great feedback for the practical help received and the chance to find out about aspects of running a business they hadn’t considered.

Local service providers have also come forward with special offers of free or reduced rate services for start-ups, which are included in a start-up toolkit.

People can attend whether they already have a new business or just a few ideas they’ve been procrastinating over.

The workshops are open to businesses of any type.  Ideas don't need to be fully developed.

Kate Lord-Brennan who runs the training said:

“Aspiring business owners with dreams of a big business or a small venture to fit their lifestyle will be welcomed and assisted.”

The workshops are being held in Peel on Saturday 7th March and Douglas on Saturday 14th March 2015.  For full details and to book contact kate@ventureworks.im or text / call 450749.  Advance booking is essential.  You can also see their Facebook page - Start-Up Saturdays Isle of Man.
