by isleofman.com 17th January 2015
The race for promotion in JCK Division Two remains wide open.
That’s after Colby and Marown won top of the table clashes on Saturday.
Colby were emphatic 3-0 winners over Ramsey Youth Centre – Andy Blake, Alex Guy and James Collett with the goals.
Meanwhile, Marown won 3-1 at fellow contenders Douglas Royal to move above Youth Centre into second.
Two penalties from Kevin Druggan and one from Ashley Higgenbotham saw the Crosby side through.
Kenny Cowin netted for Royal but they slipped to what could be a costly defeat.
Douglas Athletic remain the leaders, a Steve Cowan double seeing off a scare from Douglas & District whose goal was scored by Jamie Brennan.
Pulrose United edged out Braddan 3-2, thanks to goals from Mickey Skillen, Ben Cowin and Barry English.
Ben O’Neil and Tony O’Neill found the net for the home side.
Malew put six past newcomers Governors Athletic.
Andy Glover was the hero with five with Dean Kinley adding the other.
Jason Murr had actually put the home side in front.
