Manx Telecom will be showcasing its world class eGaming solutions at the ICE Totally Gaming expo at London’s ExCel from February 3rd to 5th. It’s the world’s biggest eGaming expo and last year attracted more than 23,500 visitors. Organisers expect to match or exceed that number this year with gaming professionals travelling from over 100 jurisdictions, which illustrates the show’s global appeal.ICE covers eight gaming sectors – betting, bingo, casino, lottery, mobile, online, social and street – making it the only event at which the different worlds of gaming come together in one expo.
Manx Telecom will be represented at ICE by Account Managers Dan Walker and John Corrigan who will be on the Department of Economic Development’s eGaming team stand N5-320. Manx Telecom Sales Director, Fergal McKenna, commented:
“ICE is the industry’s premier forum for networking, socialising, learning and doing business–so attending the expo is an important part of our strategy to explore new opportunities and build upon our already impressive portfolio of clients.”
Manx Telecom, who already provide hosting solutions for leading gaming firms such as Pokerstars, Full Tilt Poker and Paddy Power, is the only Isle of Man provider with two world class Tier 3 data centres. Visitors to ICE will be able to find out about the latest developments at the company’snewest Greenhill Data Centre. The first phase of the ?10million project opened in March last year – two more phases are planned to add additional rackspace this year and in 2016.
Big data analytics will also be a key focus for Manx Telecom at ICE – it’s a fast growing sector of the data hosting market and allows eGaming businesses to extract commercially useful information from the huge volumes of data generated from billions of dollars of transactions every year. Businesses using Manx Telecom’s Intelligent Analytics solution can improve their identification of high value players and the accuracy of targeted marketing for cross/up-selling. It also allows for improved leveraging from player influence within their social networks, and in identifying and predicting player purchase behaviour and defection.
Security and resilience are always top priorities for every eGaming business. Manx Telecom’s DDoS Protection solution was launched last summer and is the result of a six-figure investment to deliver a world class and cost-effective cyber security solution. The DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) platform is powered by Radware, a global leader of application delivery and application security with customers such as large online commerce and social networking sites. Manx Telecom believes it is currently the only Isle of Man provider which can offer this level of cyber security protection to its corporate connectivity and hosting customers as a fully managed service.
