Ramsey Men's Dart League Report

by isleofman.com 12th January 2015

Week 10 of the Ablec electrical sponsored Ramsey mens darts league.

Traff 3 - 6 Central

The damage was done in the singles in this battle for second in the league Paul Allison, David Simpson, Robbie Crennell and Mick Antrobus winning their singles in style.  For the Traff the Kinrades of Alan and Malcolm won their singles match ups. Meaning the Central needed just one pairs win which was supplied by Nuts and Simmo.

Plough B 5 - 4 Bar Logo AAA

The singles were shared and thanks to Jamie Kelly hitting no less than 9 ton plus scores the Plough boys take it by the one game.

Bar Logo 8 - 1 RAOB

Nothing much to report on this one apart from Dave Faragher back to his best with 5 tons and a 102 finish from Scott Dalton and for the buffs its a celebration as father and son Mark Quayle and Brandan win to give Brandan his first ever win. The feeling is great isn't it Brandan?

Mitre 3 - 6 Bar Logo A

Missed doubles was certainly to the front of many games in this one as Glenn Charnock missed match doubles before Paul 'Aggie' Arthur tok them out. Alan Young had a nightmare on the doubles and Michael Quayle tooks them out to make it 1-1. Young Anthony Collis marked his debut with four ton plus scores but again missing doubles to let Roy Dunlop in for the win and hitting 25 for a possible 170 out (unlucky Roy).
