AML/CFT Code revisions need careful consideration, says compliance head

The Island's business community says revised proposals in the fight against financial crime are a much better fit.
An initial consultation on Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Code last year showed a number of problems, particularly about the treatment of pooled accounts.
The Department of Home Affairs is now asking for public feedback on the amended features.
But Head of Regulatory & Compliance Services at Dougherty Quinn Sinead O'Connor says there's a lot to consider before coming to a conclusion: (play audio)
