2014 Appleby Academy title winner announced

by isleofman.com 6th January 2015
Matthew Davies has won the 2014 Appleby Academy title.
The year 12 student at QEII gave a 10-minute presentation on Human Resources, focusing on integration and staff morale, to win the award.
The Appleby Academy aims to give sixth form students real-life experience of working with an international organisation.
Managing Partner of Appleby Sean Dowling said it was a really tough decision, but Matthew's great confidence and judgment secured him the top spot.
For his prize, Matthew will spend the summer working at Appleby in a paid placement.
