Manx Premier League to be expanded

Cricket's Manx Premier League is to be expanded.
Introduced last season, it will be played over five weekends spread over the summer.
There will also be an MPL Saturday with three games going ahead at a single venue.
Three squads of sixteen players will compete in coloured clothing with a pink ball being used.
Managers will be given a theoretical ?100,000 to purchase players - for example Luke Lacey, Ollie Webster and Greg Hawke have been valued at ?10,000 each.
