The 1st of January saw the traditional Men’s Captain Drive-in at Ramsey Golf Club, i.e. wet and a force 8 gale.
2014 Captain, Sean Cunningham and Club President, Robbie Radcliffe were amongst a brave crowd who turned out to see 2015 Men’s Club Captain, Phil Hassall, take the opening shot of the year and wish him well.
Phil drew a 6 iron in the raffle and hit a commendable 117 yard shot into the wind. Not a bad start given the conditions!
Two very pleased raffle winners, Dave Littler and Jill Power shared the winning “guess the distance” prize, not a bad start to the year.
