Moore Stephens has been recommended for ISO 9001 certification to become the only firm in its industry in the Isle of Man with this prestigious international certification of its Quality Management System.
The certificate comes after successfully completing an intensive four day audit by World Certification Services to standards of UKAS, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, and ANSI, the U.S. Accreditation Body.
“Needless to say, I am very proud and thank Lynsey Clague who managed the team over the two year project,” said Clive Dixon, managing partner in Moore Stephens. “In addition to satisfying standards set by local regulators, we have demonstrated that we also conform to internationally recognised management quality standards. This has been worth every bit of effort and my thanks also go to ISO QA Isle of Man who piloted us though the arduous process.”
ISO certification confirms that entities dealing with Moore Stephens can expect an internationally recognised standard based on eight management principles:
• Customer focus;
• Leadership;
• Involvement of people;
• Process approach;
• System approach to management;
• Continual improvement;
• Factual approach to decision making; and
• Mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
“This was not easy, the team at Moore Stephens have every right to be proud,” said Kevin Burnell of ISO QA Isle of Man. “People dealing with them can rest assured that the firm is a cut above.”
