Equiom Solutions has announced its sponsorship of the Isle of Man Centre of Excellence boys under 13s football squad.

The sponsorship involves the tax and estate planning specialists (part of the international Equiom Group), providing kit for squad.

The Isle of Man Football Association Centre of Excellence has junior teams from under 11s to under 18s.  It seeks to recruit the most talented junior football players on the Isle of Man and provide a challenging and technical coaching programme in order to develop their skills.

John Nugent, Managing Director of Equiom Solutions, commented: “The Isle of Man Football Association’s Centre of Excellence enables local boys and girls to reach their potential, providing them with opportunities to play against teams from all over the UK and further afield.  I’m delighted for Equiom Solutions to support the development of such promising local sporting talent”.

During this season’s seven month coaching programme, the under 13 boys will play the juniors from Championship side Nottingham Forrest FC and Premier League new boys Leicester City FC.

Lead coach, Michael Fitzmaurice commented: “The 20 boys within this particular age group are selected from approximately 200 boys who play for local teams within the FA Junior Football League. They all train very hard twice a week at the fantastic Bowl facility here on the Island. We have an excellent bunch of young footballers in this age group and we have gained somewhat of a good reputation over in the UK not only for playing excellent football but also for the fantastic attitude and sportsmanship our boys have. We are delighted to be teaming up with Equiom Solutions and I would like to thank them personally for this very kind sponsorship”.
