Advocates admitted to bar

Two advocates with Manx law firm Appleby have been admitted to the Manx Bar.

Andrew Newton and Sophia Wong were formally admitted at a ceremony at Douglas Courthouse.

The pair joined Appleby as trainees in September 2012 and sat and passed their Bar exams last November.

After a two-year Period of Articles, they were formally admitted to the Bar by Deemster Doyle.
