With leaders Southern Nomads not in action, Douglas B moved to the top with a 56-5 victory over Emerging Nomads.
Douglas led by just 14 points at half-time after Jack Moore and Charlie Henthorne tries.
The floodgates opened in the second period with another from Henthorne, plus scores from Mark Shortland and Tom Anderson.
In the other shield match, Vagas B saw off Western Vikings 68-0 at QEII.
