Mark Gilson appointed as MD of Capital International Ltd

Capital International Group has announced the appointment of Mark Gilson as Managing Director of Capital International Limited, the main operating company within the Group.
Mark originally trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London, coming to the Isle of Man in 1995 after 2 years working in Hong Kong.
He has held a variety of senior management roles on the Island and has extensive experience in finance, strategy development and change management.
Since joining the Group he has qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. Mark originally joined the Group in 2010 in order to develop shared services within the Group and he retains these responsibilities in addition to his new role, where he takes responsibility for co-ordinating the operations of the Group and implementing strategic projects.
Anthony Long becomes Chairman of Capital International Limited, in addition to his role as Group Chief Executive Officer and as a result will focus more on Group strategy, developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
David Long, Group Chief Investment Officer, continues his current focus on maximising investment returns and developing innovative investment products.
