Gary Hepburn, Managing Director of First Names Group in the Isle of Man, has been named in Eprivateclient’s annual ‘Top 50 Most Influential 2015’. Gary has been recognised by the publication as a leading practitioner in the private client trust and corporate services sector.
The 50 Most Influential is designed to identify, recognise, promote and introduce the leading practitioners of the private client professions and shows the breadth and depth of talent at the forefront of the private client professions today. Those that have made it onto the list are the leaders when it comes to providing the best possible service for clients and innovation in the way the needs of wealthy individuals are met. Gary’s place in the Top 50 Most Influential is the second consecutive year a First Names Group Director has been included in the acclaimed list.
Gary first joined First Names Group in 2004 as a Senior Manager in the Isle of Man Private Client business and is now the Managing Director of that business Gary is well known within the industry, and has a wealth of experience in financial services placing him as the natural choice to lead the Isle of Man operation. Originally from Zimbabwe he worked in the UK, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands before moving to the Isle of Man with his family.
Gary holds an honours degree in financial services from the University of Manchester and is a long time member of STEP, the Securities Institute and in 2003 became a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers.

Gary will attend an awards reception on 8 December in London with the other practitioners who are being honoured.
