James, a former pupil of Castle Rushen High School obtained a Masters of Law in International Trade and Commercial Law at Durham University before completing his barrister's training at Nottingham Law School.

The firm has experienced an increased demand in the fields of property law and estates.
With this increased demand, MannBenham has taken on Stephen Castle, a Manx advocate, to their private client team.
