Easton on Pole at Macau

by isleofman.com 14th November 2014
Stuart Easton is on pole for tomorrow morning's Macau Grand Prix.
The Paul Bird Kawasaki rider was half-a-second quicker than eight-time previous winner Michael Rutter on the Milwaukee Yamaha.
Honda-mounted Northern Ireland rider Lee Johnston put in a superb qualifying to finish third in the standings.
Reigning Macau Champion Ian Hutchinson is fourth followed by Jimmy Storrar, Horst Saiger, Gary Johnson, Martin Jessopp, Steve Mercer and John McGuinness.
Following a spill in the first qualifying session, Jamie Hamilton and Peter Hickman didn't ride today.
The riders are ok but the bikes are not and they are likely to be non-starters for the race.
