The big guns in women’s football all triumphed in the Warehouse Fitness Floodlit Cup on Sunday.
Gymns made it two wins out of two by recording the biggest victory of the day.

They were 8-0 winners over Old Boys and there was no doubting the star of the show.

The prolific Alannah Hall hit four, team-mate Rhiannon Brew netted a double and there were further goals from Ali Gill and Sarah Denny.

Five times winners Douglas Royal defeated battling Colby 4-1.

The Ballafletcher side, who led 1-0 at the break, came through courtesy of goals from Angela Waite, Donna Shimmin, Sarah Breen and Rebecca Cole.

The southern response came via Lotti Cain.

Corinthians registered their first win in this year’s competition with a 3-1 victory over Peel.

Jade Burden (two) and Jenna McStay scored for the Whites with Natalie Swales on target for Peel.
