Marown overcame a half-time deficit to continue their promotion push in JCK Division Two on Saturday.
They surprisingly trailed Douglas & District at the break, courtesy of Kevin Doyle’s goal.
However, the Crosby side hit back in the second half to run out 4-1 winners, thanks to goals from George Brookhouse, Kevin Druggan, Ashley Higgenbotham and Juan Killip.
Colby won the big southern derby with a 2-1 success at Castletown.
A Brett Alcott free-kick gave the visitors a half-time lead.
Town levelled after the break through an Ash Sansbury penalty but Jordan Primrose-Smith had the final word with a header to seal victory.
Douglas Athletic are third after a 6-3 home triumph over Malew.
Josh Green, Lewis Howland, David Clarke, Greg Kneen and Matthew Aire grabbed the goals – there was also an own goal – as Athletic continued their return to form.
Ashley Egan, Steve Mulhern and Luke Collister netted for a spirited Malew.

There was also a hat-trick as Pulrose saw off Foxdale 5-1 at Groves Road.
