This week The ILS Group is celebrating a landmark occasion as it marks 20 years in the British Virgin Islands.
Saturday 1st November 2014 marks ILS Fiduciary (BVI) Limited’s 20th year of operation in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) financial services industry.
The BVI built its position as the world’s pre-eminent corporate domicile based on its pioneering IBC legislation of 1984. This legislation allowed companies such as ILS Fiduciary (BVI) Limited to conduct business in the region with an unbeatable formula for company formation and post formation services.
ILS Fiduciary (BVI) Limited is based in Tortola and is one of 10 ILS offices operating around the globe in Shanghai, Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, Isle of Man, London, Portugal, Switzerland and Uruguay.
ILS BVI Managing Director Gwen Rubaine said: “I vividly remember the one-man operation I met when I joined the BVI office in 1999. It was started under the helm of Jeannette Nissen. Little did she realise at the time that her efforts would blaze the trail to the office now growing to a staff of seven hard-working, dedicated and loyal team-players, boasting 59 years of cumulative service. I am indebted to them for their zeal and enthusiasm to satisfy our clients’ needs and the overall growth of the Group. This milestone is in part due to them and I sincerely appreciate their invaluable contribution to ILS over the years.

To celebrate the special milestone Group Chief Executive Officer Chris Eaton and Chief Operating Officer Karen Jones will join Gwen, the BVI team, clients and special guests at a celebration gala in Tortola.
