Sub 17 minute lap in next 2 years?

by isleofman.com 29th October 2014
T.T. and Motorsport Development Manager Paul Phillips believes the T.T. outright lap record will dip under 17 minutes in the next two years, if conditions are right.
This year Bruce Anstey set a new standard of 17 minutes 6.682 seconds or 132.298mph.
That was six seconds faster than the previous quickest set by John McGuinness.
In order to achieve a first ever sub-seventeen minute lap, a rider will need to lap in excess of 133mph.
Paul Phillips says the closeness of racing in recent years is making the landmark a real possibility and it will lead to huge publicity:-Clip 1
