by isleofman.com 29th October 2014

Business development manager, Tim Shallcross, is heading to South Africa to address Moore Stephens Africa network partners attending their annual partners’ conference on 7 November 2014 in Clarens, Eastern Free State. The conference brings together 200 attendees including 60 partners from 15 African countries.

“It’s a great honour to be invited to speak to the Africa partners of Moore Stephens,” said Tim. “There are lots of opportunities and connections between the Isle of Man and Africa – it should be a great opportunity to promote both the Island as a jurisdiction as well as developing opportunities within the Moore Stephens network.”

The conference will bring together Moore Stephens partners and senior managers from all over the African continent for a week of updates and training sessions. Justice Malala, the award winning journalist (The Times and Guardian), television host and political commentator will be delivering the key note speech at the conference.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Tim, Moore Stephens and the Isle of Man,” said Clive Dixon, managing partner of Moore Stephens. “We’re looking forward to growing this important relationship with the Moore Stephens firms in Africa.”

“I think it’s fantastic that there’s an opportunity to work with others within the Moore Stephens network,” said Jeff Blackbeard, Africa Strategy Advisor. “I’m sure we can build our synergies between Africa and the Isle of Man and I look forward to hearing about routes into Europe.”
