Grant Thornton Audit Senior Simon Nicol has successfully completed his ACCA qualification.

Simon, who joined the firm in early 2010, has passed a series of examinations and demonstrated commitment to his role in order to achieve the industry-respected qualification.

The Liverpool John Moores University graduate, who attended St Ninian’s High School, works with a variety of public sector, corporate and individual clients from Grant Thornton’s headquarters in Athol Street, Douglas.

He said: ‘I am delighted to have successfully completed my ACCA qualification. It has been a demanding journey on which I was fully supported by my colleagues at Grant Thornton. I am looking forward to continuing to develop my career at Grant Thornton and taking on additional responsibilities and client portfolios.’
