Injury-ravaged Douglas suffered another big defeat on the road losing 65-5 away at South Lancs/Cheshire Division One leaders Altrincham Kersal.
Laurie Williams grabbed a consolation try for Douglas.
Defeats for their closest rivals mean Douglas keep their tenth spot in the league standings and they also have a game in hand on the other clubs.
Vagabonds dropped to seventh in the South Lancs/Cheshire Division Two standings after losing 42-31 at home to Ormskirk in an entertaining game at Ballafletcher.
They do however still have a game in hand and the right result from that could push them up into fifth.
Ramsey beat third placed side Liverpool University 24-7 at the Mooragh Park and went twelve points clear at the top of South Lancs/Cheshire Division Three.
First half tries from Craig Long (two) and John F Watling, all converted by Scott Kneale, gave Ramsey a 21-0 half-time lead.
In the second half Kneale added a penalty before Liverpool struck back courtesy of an Ollie Hadfield try, converted by Freddie Hughes.
PDMS Southern Nomads won the big game in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield, beating Vagabonds B 14-10 in a tight game at Ballafletcher.
Gerard Landels scored both of Nomads’ tries, with Dan Bridle adding the conversions.
Nomads now have a two-point lead over Douglas B at the top of the standings.
Douglas B ran on twelve tries as they eased past Western Vikings 78-0 at Port-e-Chee.
Rob Todd and Glen Smith both picked up hat-tricks, Scott Goodall got two and there were single tries from Dave Sherwin, Cal Carine, Jack Moore and Charlie Henthorn.
Scott Goodall kicked nine conversions.
In the final game of the day Ramsey B picked up a win on the road beating Emerging Nomads 46-22 at King William's College.
Orry Watterson was the man in form for Ramsey as he picked up a hat-trick, there were two tries from Ethan Benjamin on his senior debut and there were also scores from Charlie Bovenizer, John Ali and Jim Lantry.
Darren Birchall and Dale Williams both bagged two for Nomads, with Patrick O’Brien adding a conversion.
