Ramsey Men's Dart League Report

by isleofman.com 23rd October 2014
Week four in the Ablec electrical sponsored Ramsey mens darts league and things are starting to get tighter.

Plough A 6 - 3 Plough B

The derby match is always a cracker and yet again the Plough boys dealt up a fine couple of courses.

It was the B team out of the blocks first with John Verrall winning the opener with a 180 helping him on his way.

The A teamers then stepped up and win the next four games. The comeback is virtually impossible from here but the star man of the season so far Jamie Kelly steps up to win his singles and then pairs up with the only other winner John to make it 4-3.

The A team keep their 100% record with pairs victories for Geoff Howland/ Andrew Hudgeon and Palmer/ Ollie Webster.

Top performers this week Geoff with 7 ton+ scores and three legs less than 20 darts and Jamie who hit 10 ton+ scores including a 103f which is enough to win the Paul Wheeler sponsored weekly highest finish.

RAOB 1 - 8 Bar Logo A

Neil Crowe hits Conall hard with a 2-1 victory but the logo boys win all the remaining games.

Central 6 - 3 Bar Logo AAA

Before the logo boys had chance to breath they were 4-0 down with fine wins for Robbie Lon Nuts and Wooka.

To be fair to the logo lads Jay and Higgy take great scalps in David Simpson and Malcolm Callow before its business as usual for the Central outfit winning the first two pairs games.

Traff 5 - 4 Mitre

This had 5-4 on the cards all the way and all night it proved how close these teams are.

After the singles 3-3

After 8 games it was 4-4 but with Busbie and Jay on for the Traff they just proved to hot for the Mitre who definately missed their star man this term Glenn Charnock
