by isleofman.com 11th October 2014
Ramsey Youth Centre continue to be the pacesetters in JCK Division Two.
Steve Jordan and Mark McClurg (two) grabbed the goals in a 3-2 home success over battling Castletown, who replied through Alex Crawley and Sean Harrison.
Colby put their poor form behind them to show why they’re tipped to challenge for promotion.
Their 4-1 victory at Douglas Royal was the result of the day, secured through goals from Ashley Blake, Adam Fretwell (two) and Jordan Primrose-Smith.
Andrew Lancaster had earlier equalised for Royal.
Marown ran out 3-0 winners over Governor’s Athletic, courtesy of goals from Kevin Druggan, Niall Quayle and an own goal.
However, it was a spirited showing from the visitors who hit the woodwork twice.
Onchan won well at Douglas Athletic with first half goals from Greg Taylor and Mark Reece separating the side.
Darren Flanagan was the hero as Foxdale saw off Douglas and District 5-3.
He hit four in the victory at Billy Goat Park.
Braddan edged out Malew 2-1 at Clagh Vane in the remaining game with Ben Gregson on target for the home side, who finished the match with nine men.
