The Association of Corporate Service Providers has arranged a seminar on Thursday October 16th with Dougherty Quinn’s Tom Maher, Annemarie Hughes and Sinead O’Connor who will be speaking on ‘Dealing with a TIEA request and subsequent tax investigation’.
Dougherty Quinn are also sponsors of the session during which delegates will hear about the process behind a TIEA (Tax Information Exchange Agreement) request being served and the common pitfalls and challenges associated with responding. Drawing on their particular expertise in this area, DQ will share insights into how a request develops into an investigation and what members can expect from inside an investigation. DQ will also consider what regulatory obligations members have in relation to requests and investigations and give some pointers for how to prepare now for a possible investigation in the future.
The session, which will be preceded by the Annual General Meeting of the ACSP, will be at Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas with registration at 12noon for a prompt 12.30pm start. Subject to the number of questions and contributions from the audience the session will finish at around 1.30pm.
