Fortress Management Services Limited, the Isle of Man based Corporate and Trust Service Provider, celebrated its 20th year of business on Monday 6th October 2014 with a drinks and canapes evening at Sayle Gallery for their staff, clients, professional connections and business associates.

“Twenty years marks a significant milestone for Fortress. We began as a small business with just two members of staff and have since grown to an international company working with intermediaries and their clients from around the world. We offer an array of trust solutions and tax planning as well as company administration. We are honoured to be able to celebrate and share this occasion with so many of the key people who have helped make Fortress the success that it is today” said Edward Bennett, Director of Fortress Management Services Limited. 

Fortress was founded in 1994 and has effectively worked directly with intermediaries to help provide added value services to their clients. Over the last 20 years, legislation and regulation changes have transformed the industry and Fortress has taken these variations in its stride to ensure the company and its staff stays compliant as well as remaining competitive.

Although Fortress is based in the Isle of Man, the company differentiates its service offering by having a strong presence in the North West of England. This presence ensures that Fortress staff can travel to develop both professional and client relationships effectively. 

This has instigated an exciting opportunity for Fortress to expand into the UK market to meet growing demand for trust services to include;

• UK trust design,
• professional trustee services,
• trustee assistance for those clients who manage trusts themselves and
• a review and ‘take on’ service for existing trusts or trusts linked to tax schemes, both in the UK and internationally.
