Douglas crash to big defeat

by isleofman.com 4th October 2014
A significantly under strength Douglas were slammed 94-3 by Winnington Park in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.
With a string of injuries and unavailability, Douglas were missing many of their regular starting line-up and were punished by a ruthless Winnington Park outfit who stay in second place.
There was better news for Vagabonds in Division Two as they triumphed 37-33 at Port Sunlight.
Ross Pulman bagged a hat-trick of tries for Vagas with other scores coming from Ryan Pope, James Clarke and Joe Louw.
Lucas Veradi kicked two conversions and Josh Carine kicked a penalty.
Vagas remain in a mid-table position in the table but do have a game in hand which could push them up to third place.
