Crowe Morgan Chartered Accountants is the new title sponsor for Valkyrs Hockey Club for the 2014/15 Manx hockey season.
The club welcomed Amy Slee, a Director at Crowe Morgan, to the club’s home pitch at QEII High School for a club photo, with players proudly sporting the recently acquired Crowe Morgan-branded playing shirts.
Meanwhile, the club’s junior section has had recent off-Island success.
Luis Novo-Smith has been selected to play for the Manchester Pumas after travelling over to Manchester during the summer to take part in England Hockey Single System coaching and trials.
By getting through to this Luis is in a group of the top 96 players for their age group in England.
Luis is now due to compete for the Manchester Pumas in September with the next aim to gain selection for the England representative side.
In addition to Luis, the club were also represented in Manchester by Simon Sheath and Emily Kelly who unfortunately did not make it through to the final selection.
