Kenny Cowin downs leaders

Kenny Cowin was the match winner as Douglas Royal won the match of the day in JCK Division Two.
He hit both goals as second placed Royal inflicted a first defeat of the season on leaders Ramsey Youth Centre with a 2-1 success at Ballafletcher.
Malew caused the shock of the day by holding promotion hopefuls Colby to a 1-1 draw on their own turf - Tom Beard and Dean Kinley the respective scorers.
Fast improving Douglas Athletic stayed third after a 4-0 win at Braddan - Josh Green, Matty Aire and Danny O’Hare (two), one from the penalty spot, all on target at Victoria Road.
A fine second half secured Marown an impressive 4-0 win at Onchan, Stuart Morris, Niall Quayle, Andy Hollis and Juan Killip grabbing all the goals after the break.
Castletown and Pulrose shared six goals at the Stadium.
A last minute equaliser from Dave Priestnal rescued a point for the visitors, who also found the net through a David Skilen penalty and Barry English.
Alex Crawley (two) and Mike Kenny scored for the home side.
Foxdale saw off new boys Governor’s Athletic 3-0 in the basement battle with Liam Cannon and Andy Bobbington among the scorers.
