MBL Financial – one of the Island’s longest established independent financial advisers – has opened its new office in the heart of Douglas. The spacious premises at 33-35 Victoria Street, on the corner with Duke Street, have been extensively refurbished and include a reception area, office space for advisers and administrators, and private consultation rooms.
Matty Evans, Sales Director at MBL Financial, says that the move shows the confidence which the business has in the market for mortgages, pensions, investments, personal protection and savings. He said:
“The main reason for our move to new premises is to establish a presence in the heart of the retail district which makes it much more convenient for customers to call in and meet our advisers in person. Our new office creates a relaxed and comfortable environment, which also complements our aim to make accessing financial advice as easy and straightforward as possible. We have already welcomed a number of new customers and their response to the new premises has been very positive.”
He added that branches of several leading estate agents are within yards of MBL’s office, making it ideally placed for home buyers looking for mortgage advice. In addition to providing advice to individuals, MBL also advises companies and ex-pats on a wide range of financial services.
Mr Evans, who has worked for more than 30 years’ in the financial advice sector, leads an experienced team of financial consultants who are all committed to providing the very best advice. Andy Corkill has more than 25 years’ experience as a financial adviser and many long-standing clients who have benefited from his trusted advice on pensions, investments and mortgages.
