Gymns and Peel secured their first points of the season in the Warehouse Fitness women’s league on Sunday.
A 2-2 draw at Tromode saw the westerners fight back with strikes from Sarah Wignall and Maxine Smalley.
Eleanor Gawne had netted both for the hosts.
DHSOB sealed their first win in over a year after defeating Colby 5-1 at Blackberry Lane.
Leading 3-0 at half-time, Ceri Purvis (two), Rachael Christian (two) and Hannah Swan scored for the home side.
The southerners’ consolation was credited to Breesha Eaton-Smith.
The match involving Douglas Royal v Castletown was postponed as the southerners, for the second successive week, were unable to field a team.
