Vagabonds B maintain winning start

Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield holders Vagabonds B had a solid 46-19 win away at Emerging Nomads to keep their shield retention plan on track.
Tries from Matty Williams (two), Liam Kinley, Peter Faragher, Mark Howarth, James Nicols, Bryn Griffith and Stevie Gawne, plus three conversions from Jonny Beckley, gave Vagas maximum points.
At QEII School, Douglas B racked up another big score beating Western Vikings 57-12.
Glenn Smith was the star for Douglas with four tries. Scott Goodall bagged two and there were also tries from Hugo Langermann and Rich Melia. Goodall kicked six conversions.
At Mooragh Park, Ramsey B beat an under strength Castletown side 62-27.
Kevin Granzatto ran in four tries for Ramsey, Andy Cleator three and there were also scores from Aneurin Pritchard and Ben Harding.
Tom Watterson, Shawn Arthur, John Goodall and Dave Akkulugadu all crossed for Town. John Forrest kicked a penalty and a conversion and there was also a conversion from Watterson.
