by isleofman.com 12th September 2014
The Isle of Man team lost 2-1 to the Republic of Ireland is a friendly ahead of the UEFA Regions Cup Finals in Slovakia.
Playing as England, the Manx had a disastrious start and were 2-0 down within the first 8 minutes.
However, they steadied the ship and gradually got into the contest.
Substitute Josh Kelly scored in the second half but the Manx couldn't force an equaliser.
The sides meet again on Saturday at Home Farm with a 3pm kick-off.
