Police and lifeboat crew rescues man in sea

by isleofman.com 12th September 2014
Douglas lifeboat was called into action last night after someone fell into the sea off the Victoria Pier.

The Sir William Hillary was launched shortly before 9.30pm last night to rescue the man, along with two police officers who’d jumped in to help.

The man was taken safely out of the water and dropped off at the harbour’s liner berth where an ambulance took him to Noble’s Hospital.

Douglas RNLI says the rescue took around half an hour to complete.
