Yes or No, change on the way

The Island's bishop says political change is on the way across the United Kingdom, whether or not the people of Scotland vote for independence.

Robert Paterson says if the vote is Yes, Wales and Northern Ireland are likely to demand greater powers and freedom.

The loss of Scottish labour MPs would alter the balance of power between parties at Westminster.

And if an independent Scotland launches a generous welfare programme, needy communities in the far north of England may feel they suffer unfairly.
