A Manx-based egaming company has announced it won’t be taking any more money from punters – and has given its existing customers a month to withdraw their cash.

Locus Gaming, based in Clinch's House on Lord Street in Douglas, runs the Jack Gold Casino – but says it won’t be taking bets for the time being.

No reason’s been given, and the company says it will try to return to full service if it can possibly do so.

But it adds it will return all customer funds in line with the Gambling Supervision Commission’s rules.

In a statement on its website, the company says all customer cash will be returned, although it may take up to five days to pay refunds.

Locus Gaming, which operates the site, says it will keep customer information until November to comply with the terms of its Manx license.

But the company says Jack Gold Casino site will close in October, unless it can return to full trading.

And it asks customers who have any complaints to contact the Island’s Gambling Supervision Commission.
