The number of people out of work has fallen during August.

Unemployment in the Isle of Man now stands at two per cent, a fall of 30 on the previous month to 904. Of those now registered unemployed, 605 are men and 299 women.

According to the government, 629 vacancies were notified to the Job Centre during August and at the end of the month 320 positions were still vacant.
