Health and Social Care Minister to appear before Committee

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence next week from Minister for Health and Social Care Hon Howard Quayle MHK. The Chief Executive of the Department, Mr Mark Charters, will also participate, as will Managing Director for Acute Services Mrs Michaela Morris.

The session will be on Wednesday 17th September 2014 at 2.30pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend, and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, comprising of Mrs Brenda Cannell MHK, Caairliagh, the Hon Steve Rodan SHK and Mr Alan Crowe MLC, is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit.
