MT tight-lipped on market expansion

by isleofman.com 10th September 2014
Manx Telecom’s released a statement after news it’ll have to open up its landline network to other operators.

This week, the Communications Commission said it would allow customers to choose their landline provider by the end of this year.

It’s an area that’s been traditionally dominated by Manx Telecom, and other operators have welcomed the news.

MT wouldn’t be interviewed, but in a one-line statement Chief Executive Mike Dee said: “Manx Telecom are continuing to work with the Isle of Man Communications Commission and the other licensed operators on the introduction of new wholesale services.”
