Commissioners welcome Knockaloe meeting

by isleofman.com 10th September 2014
Residents were out in force in the west of the Island last night, debating the future of Knockaloe Farm.

The meeting in Patrick Community Centre saw hundreds of residents join the commissioners and local MHK David Anderson to oppose government plans to sell the site.

David Talbot, chair of Patrick Commissioners, says counter-proposals include a business park and tourism centre.

And after DEFA Minister Richard Ronan said he’d consider the plans, Mr Talbot said he was happy the government had listened to local people:Clip 1
