Local teacher to represent GB at archery championship

An Island PE teacher has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Archery European Championships.
Lesley Sleight from Queen Elizabeth II high school will be heading to Estonia for the championships next week (15th September) after being named as one of only six archers to represent the country.
Lesley said she hopes her selection will inspire her students and raise their sporting ambitions.
