Bridge named in honour of WW2 hero

A ceremony has taken place in Castletown this lunchtime (Sun 12.30) to rename the harbour footbridge.
It will now be known as the Cain Bridge after Major Robert Cain VC.
Major Cain was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in the Battle of Arnhem during World War Two.
Vice Chairman of the Isle of Man War Memorials Preservation Committee Richard Ronan says the location is fitting, given Major Cain's connections with the town:
