Ramsey Youth Centre’s perfect start to the season continued on Saturday.
They made it five wins out of five in JCK Division Two with an impressive 5-0 win at Onchan.
And it was a first half blitz with all the goals coming in the opening 45 minutes – Graham Kennish, Glenn McGovern, Tom Hall, Ruari Poole and Mark McGlurg the marksmen.
A number of the other teams tipped for promotion also claimed maximum points but were pushed hard.
Goals from Ashley Heginbotham, Adam McAuley, Niall Quayle and Stuart Morris fired Marown to a 4-2 success over Malew, who scored through Andy Glover and Craig Marsh.
Douglas Royal needed three goals in the last 15 minutes to see off battling Foxdale at Ballafletcher.
An Andrew Lancaster double and one from Simon Dooley finally saw off the westerners who led through Charlie Harrison.
Colby hit Pulrose United for six.
A Kyle Lunn treble, a Jordan Edge double and an Adam Fretwell goal sealed a 6-1 win – all this after the sides were level at the break.
Barry English netted for Pulrose.
It was a similar story at Braddan as they ran out 4-1 winners over Douglas and District, courtesy of goals from Mark O’Neill, Ben O’Neill and George Giggin (two).
D&D, who scored through Daniel Clague-Stewart, had held the home side in the opening 45 minutes.
Douglas Athletic hit new boys Governor’s Athletic for 10.
Josh Green (three), Darren Shields (three), Leon Dawson (two), Greg Kneen and Josh McMullen grabbed the goals in a 10-1 victory.
A Chris Clague penalty was the home side’s consolation.
