Douglas B sent out a warning to the other Shield contenders with an emphatic 76-5 win over Ramsey B.
Carl Markl-Ferns scored a hat-trick of tries for Douglas and there were also tries from Scott Goodall (two), Charlie Henthorn (two), Tom Anderson, Rich Bell, Alex Long and Ollie Mealin.
Scott Goodall kicked eight conversions.
