On Saturday, Pet Poultry, based at the Balladronnan Smallholding in Ballaugh, is running a session for people who’d like to know how they can keep chickens.
Ruth Dermott says the idea is to show people how simple and rewarding it can be to raise chickens.
She says it’s something that’s been growing in popularity in recent years:
