PDMS buys ticket company

Isle of Man IT firm PDMS has bought a ferry ticketing and reservation business.
The company, which is based in the Cooil Road business park in Douglas, bought the Maxima Information Group for ?752,000.
MIG produces reservation and ticketing and payroll software for ferry operators.
In a statement, Ian Smith, chief executive of Castleton, the company’s former owner, said PDMS would bring better prospects for the firm.
