Cycling musician arrives to unique fanfare

A two-wheeled troubadour has arrived in the Island to entertain Manx audiences with his unique travelling show.
As part of the Island of Culture 2014, Jon Hodkin will be playing his collection of unusual musical instruments, some of them made from everyday items - such as a hosepipe and a funnel.
His show Inner Tuba will tour schools and residential homes for the next three weeks.
This is Mr Hodkin's second visit to the Island, after a previous tour in 2009.
The one-man show is entirely mobile, with all his instruments and living necessities stored in a trailer attached to the back of his bike.
Mr Hodkin says the tour celebrates the simplicity of music making:
