Detailed labels needed if Island wants to continue exporting

by isleofman.com 1st September 2014
If the Isle of Man wants to carry on exporting its goods, then they will need to be properly labelled.
That is according to the Government's Food Safety Manager Ivan Bratty.
A public consultation has been launched about the new regulations which will mean there will be more details on food and drink labels.
It is an EU directive which will come into force this December over a phased two year period.
Mr Bratty says it is about giving the consumer as much information as possible.
You can find a link to the public consultation on the government's website gov.im Clip 1
